The workshop 'The second generation Eurocodes: key changes and benefits through design examples' (online, 3-5 June 2025) will be the main European event in 2025 to promote the upcoming publication of the second generation Eurocodes and support their implementation in the EU Member States.
The workshop will present the key potential benefits and changes of the second generation Eurocodes, with implementation/design examples for all the second generation EN Eurocodes and the new Technical Specifications on design of fibre-polymer composite and tensioned membrane structures.
The presentations and examples are provided by the Subcommittees and Working Groups of CEN Technical Committee 250 'Structural Eurocodes'.
The workshop is free of charge and open to engineering professionals, technical personnel of building authorities, and stakeholders in the field of structural and geotechnical design, who will have the opportunity of learning details on the use in practice of the new Eurocodes directly from the standards' developers.
The registration to the event is open until 25 May 2025.
