Training Course on Eurocodes Application

The tutors are Professors Rui Simões and Aldina Santiago from Coimbra University with extensive practical experience in the design of building and civil engineering structures as well as research activities in the field.

This one day course will illustrate the design challenges through presentation and discussion, and offers expert advice and opinion on the practical application of the new European design codes. The emphasis is on design of steel-concrete composite beams, column, slabs and connections, as well as fire safety design analysis.
