Structural fire design with the second-generation Eurocodes

This webinar is organised by the Horizontal Group Fire (HGF) of CEN/TC 250. The webinar focuses on the most significant modifications and novelties characterising the Eurocode parts regarding structural fire design, also discussing the background and the potential impacts on design practice.

The full-day programme covers an introduction to the general methodology common to all fire parts of the second-generation Eurocodes, alongside detailed presentations on the updated provisions for EN 1991-1-2 (actions on structures exposed to fire), EN 1992-1-2 (concrete structures), EN 1993-1-2 (steel structures), EN 1994-1-2 (composite steel and concrete structures), EN 1995-1-2 (timber structures),  EN 1996-1-2 (masonry structures), and EN 1999-1-2 (aluminium structures). An interactive Q&A session and concluding remarks will close the event.
