Decoding 2nd Generation Eurocode 7 - Shallow foundations (online course)

Lecture 4: Tuesday 14 January 2025 at 10:00 – Slopes cuttings & embankments*

Lecture 5: Wednesday 15 January 2025 at 10:00 – Reinforces fill and soil nailed structures

Lecture 6: Thursday 16 January 2025 at 10:00 – Groundwater control

This course is aimed at civil, structural and geotechnical engineers involved in geotechnical design to Eurocode 7 Part 1. Ideally those attending will have some prior knowledge of Eurocode 7; this is a good follow on to the ‘Basis’ course (click here for information on the 'Basis of Geotechnical Design' course). The speaker: Dr Andrew Bond is the immediate past Chairman of the Eurocode 7 Committee TC250/SC7 and has been involved in its development. He is co-author of the book ‘Decoding Eurocode 7’ and has extensive lecturing experience.
