Guide to the use of EN 1991-1-7 Accidental Actions

The objectives of this report are to: - Review the provisions of the sections on Accidental Action in EN1991 'Actions on Structures' Part 1, in comparison with the current UK codes. - Summarise the major differences between EN 1991-1-7 and the existing UK codes. - Include the development of specific guidance on the means of addressing the robustness of buildings that fall into the category 3 consequence class structures. EN 1991-1-7 deals with a range of structures including significant information for bridge design. For this report only the areas concerned with buildings are considered.
