The CEN Technical Committee 250 'Structural Eurocodes' has released a series of 10 short videos on the Second Generation Eurocodes, produced with support of the British Standards Institution (BSI) and WSP engineering and professional services firm.
"For the past decade, thousands of expert engineers have worked collaboratively to develop the second generation of the EN Eurocodes, the suite of structural and geotechnical design standards used across Europe and in many other countries around the world. This effort is now nearing its conclusion, with all new documents due to be available by early 2026.
To assist those planning for the transition to the new standards, we have produced a series of ten short non-technical videos to explain what is happening. They are intended for everyone from regulators and clients to designers and educators to help answer the questions you may have.
We hope you find them useful and thank BSI and WSP for supporting their production, and all those who have contributed to the Eurocodes evolution programme."
