Training Course on Eurocodes Application

The tutors are Professors Joaquim Figueiras and Rui Faria from FEUP with extensive practical experience in the design of building and civil engineering structures.

This one day course considers the key changes between REBAP (Portuguese Code) and Eurocode2, illustrating the design challenges through presentation and discussion, and offers expert advice and opinion on the practical application of the new European design codes. The emphasis is on design of beams, column, SLS and slabs.
