As part of the Eurocodes Promotion Strategy Project, the British Standards Institution (BSI) organized a two day Conference/Workshop in Cairo, Egypt in conjunction with the European Commission, the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Egyptian National Standardisation Body (EOS). The event took place on 26th and 27th January 2011.
Day 1:
To promote the formal adoption of Eurocodes by the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (EOS) and their wider use by the Egyptian construction Industry.
Day 2:
To increase awareness and understanding of Eurocodes amongst design professionals in Egypt.
