Training Course on Eurocodes Application

The tutor is Professor Paulo Pinto from Coimbra University with extensive practical experience in the design of buildings and civil engineering structures as well as research activities in the field of historic building structures.

This one day course will illustrate the design challenges through presentation and discussion, and offers expert advice and opinion on the practical application of the new European design codes. The emphasis is geotechnical design by calculation for spread and pile foundations, anchorages, retaining structures and embankments.
