This course is designed to introduce experienced steel designers to the Eurocode provisions for steel design. The focus is on orthodox construction, covering the primary design issues for practicing engineers. The course should deliver a sense of reassurance that design to Eurocode 3 will become straightforward in time, and indeed has advantages in some areas.

Numerical worked examples are an important feature of the course, and are used to demonstrate each major element of the course content.
