Eurocode 8 : Design of structures for earthquake resistance

Upon completion of the course the participants should

Become familiar with the philosophy and provisions of Eurocode 8, parts 1, 3 and 5 with emphasis on design and retrofitting reinforced concrete buildings

Become aware of the Cyprus National Annex for Eurocode 8 and the Nationally Determined Parameters

Be able to apply the provisions of the code to engineering problems
