Design of concrete structures to Eurocode 2

This one-day course considers the key elements of the new concrete design code and its application in design practice. It also gives background information about the wider Structural Eurocode programme currently in production. The course is hands on and will include numerous worked examples and tutorials allowing delegates to undertake design and analysis of the basic elements such as beams, slabs and columns under simple and complex loading. It will utilise the Eurocode suite throughout but will make comparison and reference to BS 8110 where appropriate. The course will give the delegate a broad introduction to practical design and analysis using Eurocode 2 within the wider context of the Eurocode suite.
