Design of Building Structures to Eurocode 2

Explain the main features and changes contained in Eurocode 2 and the accompanying National Annex for UK specific conditions. The course will cover a brief introduction to the Eurocode system, the basis of design, structural analysis, material properties, design for bending with and without axial loads, shear, punching shear, torsion, anchorage and detailing. The main approaches to structural fire design will also be explained
