This course will cover the design of composite beams and slabs with reference to Eurocode 4 for composite contruction (BS EN 1994-1-). For some composite elements everyday design is often carried out using alternatives to the complex design procedures, and the use of both design tables and design software will be covered in addition to the basic principles of design.
