This 1 day course is designed to introduce experienced steel designers to the Eurocode provisions for steel design. The course focuses on orthodox construction, covering the primary design issues for practicing engineers. The course will deliver a sense of reassurance that design to EC3 will become straightforward in time, and indeed has advantages in some areas.

As the experts in steel design, the SCI have arranged a 1 day seminar to prepare engineers for the use of Eurocode 3. The course will cover the Eurocode documentation needed for design, the design principles for steel and the major changes to present practice.
