The courses are aimed at imparting on the participants:

• Knowledge and understanding of the philosophy of the Eurocodes, including basis of design and actions on structures
• General familiarisation with the system of Eurocodes
• The competence to carry out structural design in concrete or steel in accordance with the relevant Eurocode standards
• The competence to design the foundations of buildings and other underground structures in accordance with the geotechnical Eurocode
