Decoding Second Generation Eurocode 7 – Deep foundations (online course)

This online course features a series of online live lectures of approximately 1.5 hrs each, delivered directly to your computer to make up a full course. Lectures will run on the following dates (*includes workshop):

Lecture 1: Tue 11th June at 2.30 pm – General rules for deep foundations

Lecture 2: Wed 12th June at 2.30 pm – Pile foundations*

Lecture 3: Thurs 13th June at 2.30 pm –Embedded retaining walls*

Lecture 4: Tues 18th June at 2.30 pm – Anchors

Lecture 5: Wed 19th June at 2.30 pm – Rock bolts and surface supports

Lecture 6: Thurs 20th June at 2.30 pm – Ground improvement 

This course is aimed at civil, structural and geotechnical engineers involved in geotechnical design to Eurocode 7 Part 1. Ideally, those attending will have some prior knowledge of Eurocode 7. This is a good follow on to the course 'Basis of geotechnical design'. You can book individual lectures or the whole course at a discount. 

The speaker: Dr Andrew Bond is the immediate past Chairman of the Eurocode 7 Committee TC250/SC7 and has been involved in its development. He is co-author of the book ‘Decoding Eurocode 7’ and has extensive lecturing experience
