The superstructure consists of a cast in-situ concrete deck. The cross section soffit describes a curve with a maximum structural depth of 1525mm at its centreline. Several voids are used to make the deck lighter. The deck is supported by inclined steel cables arranged into two planes at both edges of the deck. The cables are distributed in a harp pattern and the spacing between them is 7m. To avoid differential settlement between adjacent supports, the intermediate pylons and the north abutment are supported on footings casted against the limestone bedrock stratum, while four piles supporting a bearing shelf are embedded into the bedrock in the south abutment. The bridge was designed with elastomeric bearings at both abutments and free sliding bearings at both pylons.
