Dynamics of Structures Theory and Applications to Earthquake and Wind Engineering using Structural Eurocodes

This book presents structural dynamics firstly, in a form which is sufficient and necessary for understanding Earthquake and Wind Engineering. The text proceeds with design of a reinforced concrete and steel buildings and bridges using the Eurocodes and National Annexes for Croatia. The book summarizes important points of the Eurocode 0, Eurocode 1 (wind engineering) and Eurocode 8 for the seismic design of concrete and steel buildings and bridges. The buildings and bridges worked example are presented.This book is aimed for designers of high rise structures and bridges as well as for students of master and postgraduate level. It consists of 626 pages. The second edition of this book will appear in January 2014 with will include feedback obtained by users of the first edition.
