Eurocodes database for Nationally Determined Parameters

JRC support to the implementation, harmonization and further development of the Eurocodes This document provides description of the Eurocodes database for Nationally Determined Parameters (NDPs database), which was created in the frame of the Administrative Arrangement (AA) between the Enterprise and Industry Directorate General (DG ENTR) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) regarding the support to the implementation, harmonization and further development of the Eurocodes. The Eurocodes and their National implementation are presented in order to outline the role of the NDPs in the process. The Commission Recommendation of 11 December 2003 on the implementation and use of the Eurocodes for construction works and construction products is overviewed as the EU policy background for the definition of the purpose and the relevant design, development and maintenance strategies of the NDPs database.
