Decoding Eurocode 7

A series of four one-day courses providing in-depth analysis and discussion of Eurocode 7 Parts 1 and 2, plus related ISO/CEN standards.

Day 1 (23rd May) “Basis of Geotechnical design” is aimed at civil and structural engineers wanting a concise explanation of Eurocode 7 Part 1 and its application.

Day 2 (24th May) “Design of Shallow Foundations” is aimed at civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers who will be using the code for detailed geotechnical design.

Day 3 (26th May) “Design of Deep Foundations” is aimed at civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers who will be using the code for detailed geotechnical design of embedded retaining walls and piles.

Day 4 (27th May) “Ground Investigation and testing” is aimed at geotechnical engineers involved in site investigation and testing.

The speaker is Andrew Bond who is the current chairman of the TC250/SC7 committee and has extensive lecturing experience.
